Our Commitment

Crunchy Tech is committed to making our website accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We work to provide an inclusive digital experience that conforms to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).

Standards We Follow

Our site is designed and tested against:

  • WCAG 2.1 Level AA — the international standard for web accessibility
  • Section 508 of the U.S. Rehabilitation Act
  • Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Title III guidance for websites

Features We Provide

  • Semantic HTML structure for screen readers and assistive technologies
  • Keyboard-accessible navigation throughout the site
  • Alt text on all meaningful images
  • Color contrast meeting WCAG AA standards in both light and dark themes
  • Forms with labels associated to every input
  • Visible focus indicators on all interactive elements
  • Skip-to-content patterns where applicable
  • Touch targets sized at 44px minimum on mobile
  • Responsive design that works at any zoom level up to 200%

Ongoing Efforts

Accessibility is not a one-time project. We continually:

  • Audit new features and content for accessibility before publishing
  • Train our team on inclusive design and writing practices
  • Test with assistive technologies including screen readers (NVDA, VoiceOver) and keyboard-only navigation
  • Review user feedback and address barriers as they are identified

Known Limitations

Despite our best efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible. We are actively working to remediate any gaps. Third-party content, embedded videos, and PDF documents may also not always meet the same standards as our primary content.
