100-Display Sports Bar AV Installation
Bar Expansion Project
Tight Two-Week Project Timeline
Project Challenges
We faced some distinctive challenges at this Phoenix bar site. A tight project timeline that allowed only two weeks for completion, far shorter than the typical month-long AV installation schedule, set the tone for an accelerated and highly coordinated effort.
The installation required 100 TVs, including twenty 55” displays, one 98″ in landscape, one 98″ in portrait, and nine 55” outdoor full-sun TVs. We also implemented a 2×2 video wall composed of 65” displays, along with three additional video walls and a Jumbotron.
To handle a variety of content sources, we installed twelve HDMI inputs, including a USB-C wall plate for added flexibility. For audio, we set up 40 commercial speakers – pendant, ceiling, and subwoofers – carefully placed to deliver full, balanced sound throughout the space.
We delivered a comprehensive control system to tie all elements together. Additionally, we had to work within and around pre-existing architectural features while synchronizing our efforts with various contractors who were active on-site at the same time.
Immersive Sports-Viewing Experience
Understanding Client Needs
The primary requirement of our client was an accelerated installation schedule that in no way shall compromise the quality or functionality of the immersive sports viewing experience that defines the Tom’s Watch Bar brand. Meeting their business timeline made this sheer impossible challenge the most critical of those we have had in recent memory.

Integrated Design-Build Approach
Implementation Methodology
The record-setting two-week design-to-build timeline was made possible through our integrated design-build methodology. From day one, that set the stage for architects, engineers, and construction teams to work hand in hand to get the job done.
Crunchy Tech is different from other AV integrators. We can adapt our systems and procedures to satisfy strict timeline requirements. What you might initially regard as unfeasible for traditional integrators is only a very compressed version of what we do all the time. Deploying parallel teams to work in synergy and using pre-configured equipment when possible enabled us to speed up this project into a 14-day installation.
Our project management system also allowed real-time tuning and prioritization so that path-critical items always get addressed first. We had all-hands-on-deck daily coordination meetings with all stakeholders to head off bottlenecks before they could impact the timeline.
Pushing Limits, Setting Standards
Finishing the Project on Time
The Tom’s Watch Bar Phoenix project highlights our unique place in the AV integration market as a company that can measure up to seemingly impossible deadlines with no trade-offs in quality or functionality. By blending technical proficiency with strategic partnerships and an innovative approach to project management, Crunchy Tech delivered an immersive sports-viewing experience that went above and beyond the industry standard.
This record-setting two-week installation not only satisfied the immediate needs of our client, it also established a new benchmark for efficiency that will benefit all of our customers moving forward.
