When the AV world descends on Orlando, we pay attention. InfoComm 2025 at the Orange County Convention Center didn’t disappoint! It’s bigger, louder and packed with innovation. From giant LED walls to AI-powered everything, the energy on the show floor was irresistible. For Crunchy Tech, it was a great opportunity to connect, learn and bring back ideas that will fuel what we do next.

As proud AVIXA members, we make it a point to stay ahead of trends that drive genuine impact for our clients. That’s why we were there — to see what’s possible, to meet the thinkers pushing boundaries and to experience firsthand how artificial intelligence, immersive visuals, and smarter integration are shaping the next chapter in Pro AV.

With nearly 31,000 verified attendees and a record number of end users this year, InfoComm 2025 felt like a pulse check on where our industry is headed — and we’re here to share what we saw.

What is infocomm?

InfoComm is the largest pro audiovisual trade show in North America. If it’s AV, you’ll find it here. The event draws thousands of exhibitors and attendees from all corners of the industry: audio, video, conferencing, digital signage, live events, higher education, security, even VR.

On the show floor, you’ll see a massive range of products: advanced displays, streaming tools, control systems, collaboration platforms, and emerging tech in AI and Enterprise IT. It’s where manufacturers debut new solutions and where AV professionals come to learn, network, and see what’s next.

For us at Crunchy Tech, it’s an essential stop on the calendar. A place to explore innovations that can shape the future of AV integration and customer experience.

What We Saw on the InfoComm 2025 Show Floor

We came to InfoComm 2025 to explore new ideas, and the convention hall delivered. With more than 800 exhibitors and nearly 31,000 attendees, it was clear that Pro AV innovation is alive and thriving.

AI Integration Was Everywhere

If there was one tech trend you couldn’t miss, it was AI in Pro AV solutions. But what stood out this year was less about shiny new AI features and more about how these tools are actually being utilized.

Across the expo hall, manufacturers focused on real-world applications: AI-driven automation, intelligent content delivery, and AI-enhanced user experiences. The conversation is shifting from “what can AI do?” to “how can we use AI to work smarter?”

Show-Stopping LED and dvLED Displays

Immersive displays were another big takeaway. We were drawn to everything from transparent OLED screens to massive curved LED walls and ceiling-mounted installations. The visual impact of today’s dvLED and modular display tech is incredible. Perfect for grabbing attention in retail, entertainment and live event settings.

Interactive Experiences That Engaged Attendees

Beyond the visuals, we loved seeing how many booths embraced interactive experiences. Panasonic’s “Iconic You” demo, Optoma’s projection-mapped golf simulator, and MUXWAVE’s holographic displays, among others, had attendees queuing up to participate. The industry is undoubtedly leaning hard into interactivity. A trend we’ve long championed with solutions like Padzilla and Unreal Bowl.

One of the biggest advantages of LED displays is how quickly you can update them. Imagine running a flash sale that lasts just a few hours. With LED screens, you can instantly show messages like “Today Only—50% Off!” or “Hurry, Sale Ends in 2 Hours!”

Countdown timers and FOMO-inducing “Only X Left” messages add even more pressure as they encourage shoppers to take a desired action before it’s too late. Many retailers have seen great results with this approach, especially during hectic shopping seasons.

Key Takeaways from InfoComm 2025

After three packed days on the floor, in panels, and talking with fellow AV pros, a few big themes stuck with us:

AI Is Now an Expectation, Not an Option

At this point, AI-powered AV is practically becoming the baseline. Whether embedded in control systems, displays, or content platforms, AI tools are streamlining operations and enhancing experiences. The question has since shifted from “should we use AI?” to “how can we use it to deliver smarter, easier-to-manage AV systems?”

Pro AV and Broadcast Are Blurring

We saw this clearly in booths like Crestron, where AV-over-IP and broadcast-quality cameras were featured in both corporate and entertainment setups. The lines between Pro AV, IT, and broadcast are dissolving fast, as integrators and end-users are looking for more unified, flexible solutions that can span multiple environments.

Interactivity Is Driving Engagement

One of the most exciting trends was the focus on audience engagement. Attendees responded to displays they could interact with, whether swiping on a giant touch screen, participating in a projection-mapped experience, or seeing their face on a landmark via AI.

It’s a stupendous reminder that interactive AV is doubtless key to standing out in today’s crowded spaces, from trade shows to retail to entertainment venues.

Why InfoComm 2025 Matters to Crunchy Tech

For us at Crunchy Tech, attending InfoComm 2025 wasn’t for the mere sake of seeing what’s new, but also staying connected to where the Pro AV world is headed.

Keeping Our Solutions Cutting Edge

We design and deploy interactive display experiences and integrated AV systems every day. Being at InfoComm helps us track the trends shaping what clients want. That could be more AI-driven automation, better immersive visuals, or next-gen control systems. Staying ahead of these trends means we can keep delivering fresh, future-ready solutions for our customers.

Strengthening Industry Connections

Events like InfoComm 2025 also give us a chance to rub elbows with partners, suppliers, and fellow AV professionals. It’s a community that’s constantly pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with Pro AV, which we’re proud to be a part. Conversations we had on the floor — about content strategies, display tech, and system integration — will directly inform what we build next.

Shaping Our Vision for 2026 and Beyond

Finally, shows like this inspire us. From the booths we loved to the panel discussions on AI and convergence, InfoComm gives us new ideas to take home, test and turn into better solutions for our clients — whether that’s an interactive sports bar, a high-tech conference room, or the next evolution of Unreal Bowl.
