AV Control Systems

AV control that replaces the remotedrawer

One interface for every display, audio zone, lighting scene, and source in the room. Designed, programmed, installed, and supported by one team.

Engagement

One iPad instead of a drawerfullofremotes

Think about how a busy venue actually runs. Fifteen minutes to kickoff, thirty TVs on the wall, and a drawer of fifty remotes behind the bar while the manager hunts for the one that fixes the patio screen. That is a control problem. An AV control system is the operating system for your venue: one iPad or wall panel that runs every display, audio zone, lighting scene, and source in the building.

Most companies will sell you the parts. We design what the room is supposed to do, then build the simplest way to run it. We design, program, install, and support the whole system, and it runs from an iPad, a wall panel, or a browser, as opposed to a proprietary remote you are locked into.

What we deliver

Five things every controlsystem gets right

Every system we build comes down to these five. Pick the tier that fits each zone.

Capability 01

Workflow-First Design

The Challenge

Most control systems are built around what the programmer can do, not what staff can run.

What We Deliver

We watch how the room actually runs, then build the control so anyone can run it in ten seconds.
  • On-site workflow study with the people who use it
  • Scene presets tied to your operating calendar
  • A ten-second operator test before sign-off
  • Runs from an iPad, phone, wall panel, or browser

What it is

What is an AVcontrolsystem?

No more remote nightmares, just one tap away from total control of all of your audio and visual equipment and environments.

One point of control for your business

An AV control system, or audio visual control system, is a single platform that runs every audio, video, lighting, and signage device in a commercial space from one interface (usually an iPad, a wall panel, or a browser).

Instead of fifty remotes, one device. Instead of five inputs fighting for attention, one button for "Game Day," "Lunch," or "All-Hands." Under it sits a control processor that knows every device in the room, a switcher that routes the displays, audio processing that runs each zone of sound, and a dedicated AV network so a control command never waits behind guest Wi-Fi or the point-of-sale. The parts are commodities. The control logic is the product.

How we design

How we design and program audiovisualcontrol

Workflow first, gear second. We build the room around the person pressing the buttons.

How we build the control

We start with the people who run the room: the bartender on Saturday night, the GM doing the 4pm switch, the AV coordinator at corporate. We then build the control around what they need to do in ten seconds. We program and test the whole system in our shop before anything ships, so surprises happen there and not on your floor on a Friday. We install for both new builds and pre existing gear. We spec the audio, videos, advertising and create templates for your venue to start from day one.

We can integrate into your system

We bridge the gear you already own where it makes sense. You will not be forced to replace everything just to standardize the controls. The cable and satellite remotes get tucked in the rack, because if a remote is reachable someone will bypass the iPad and the room stops running from one place. We hand it off in person, with reference documentation, so the person hired next year can still run it.

Where it earns

Where AV control earnsitskeep

Two jobs: revenue in hospitality, productivity in the office.

Hospitality Control Systems

In a sports bar, restaurant, or hotel, control is the difference between a Saturday that runs itself and one that runs the manager ragged. One tap flips the room from lunch - soft and calm with two TVs on news - to game day, full audio with every screen on the match and drink specials on the signage. Each zone keeps its own volume so the bar can be loud while the dining room stays easy to talk in. The daypart changes happen on a schedule instead of a manager riding a fader.

Our AV control system runs every audio zone, presets your sports channels for the right game to be on the right screen, and sets lighting scenes that shift from lunch to game day.

Enterprise Control Systems

In an office, control is the difference between a meeting that starts at 8:30 and one that starts whenever someone figures out the projector. The room reads the calendar invite, powers up, joins the call, and frames the camera before the host sits down. Every room works the same way; a new hire or a visiting exec touches one button and it works. We set up the network side with your IT team, dedicated and documented, so an update never blacks out the room.

Our audio and visual control systems can help manage training rooms, control rooms, lobby areas, and retail standardizations.

Before you sign

What to ask an AVcontrolcompany

A few questions to ask anyone, including us, before you sign.

  1. Who runs the system after launch, and can your own staff change a preset without calling the vendor?
  2. What happens when something drifts on a Saturday night, and is the company that sold it the one that answers?
  3. Can the gear you already own join the system, or is the plan to replace all of it?
  4. Is the AV on its own network, so a software update or a busy guest Wi-Fi never takes the room down?
  5. Can you start with one zone and add more later, instead of doing the whole building at once?

Good answers to those five tell you more than any spec sheet.

Let's Talk

What is an AV control system, and how does it work?

An audio video control system is a single platform that runs every display, audio zone, lighting scene, and source in a space from one interface, usually an iPad, a wall panel or a browser. Instead of a drawer of remotes, you tap one preset (like Game Day or Lunch) and the room sets itself. A control processor talks to every device, a switcher routes the displays and the whole thing lives on a dedicated AV network so a command never waits behind other traffic. We design it around how your team runs the room, program and test it in our shop, install it and support it after launch.

Can it work with the gear, lighting and conferencing we already have?

Usually, yes. We bridge displays, projectors, amps and signage you already own over RS232, IR, or IP. You are not forced to replace everything to standardize the controls. The same platform runs lighting scenes, signage scheduling and multi-zone audio. It works with Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, Google Meet and Webex for meeting spaces. During design we audit what you own and tell you straight which pieces belong in the new system and which are at end-of-life.

Can we add control in phases instead of all at once?

Yes, and it is the smart way to do it. We can stand up one zone, get the control running and expand from there on a plan that keeps everything on one interface as it grows. You do not have to rewire the whole building at once and you are not left with a patchwork of systems that do not talk to each other. We check whether your existing wiring and gear can carry a phased plan before we recommend one.

How much does an AV control system cost?

It depends on the number of rooms, how many sources and outputs are involved, and the tier you pick. A single-room Good-tier system and a multi-room Best-tier build with AV-over-IP, multi-zone audio, lighting and monitoring are in very different ranges (too wide to put one number on a page). We quote Good, Better, and Best per zone - a sports bar can have Best control on the main wall and Good in the back office. Pick the tier that fits each room and not one tier for the whole project.
